Sun was out so drove the '12 to my appointments. Dwarfed by the later model I parked in front of!

Mrs Hillclimber engrossed in the F1, so gave myself a sol pass-out in the 911 this afternoon.
Bit of a mistake as I only got into 5th once in 35 miles. Traffic?
You bet!

Put some fresh 99 octane Shell in it and got blanked by the Cayman owner a few bays away. Maybe he did not know what it was!

Still, car ran just great and especially when cruising.
Forgotten how low I sit in the car with the race seat.
Sun disappeared instantly I started the journey..

Just went for a little drive.

This particular drive was notable: the first where nothing at all was added to the little niggles list.
No rattles, squeaks, slightly iffy pedal position, sub-optimal fuelling, wipers that park a tad too high, etc etc.
Nothing.
What am I going to do all day now?

Good to see Mike's still around (& doesn't seem to have changed a bit) - didn't realise you were still in contact ...

I went to Wiscombe Park on Sunday in the 914/6 as part of the venue support team, and met Winston, and the family at the VSCC event.

Winston at play in (or on!) the Wasp. 8)

They made it to the end, despite Wasp leaving its second gear chain on the tarmac on the last run, to mark the gear-change point! 8)
