Enjoyed last nights TG, loved the Ken Block tour of London and Matt Le Blanc really surprised me, he's really good on this show.
Nice to see Chris Harris doing his work with a good review and Sabine Schmitz doing her stuff, she should have dropped Evans off in LA (Experienced Sabine's driving in the BMW M5 Ring Taxi in 2008) She's Awesome!!!!!!!!

The R8 didn't do much for me.

Must agree with others the old Top Gear had gone completely stale.

Just watched it really enjoyed it, Chris Harris bit was spot on and the focus review by Rory was great loved the ken block tour of London. I think Chris Harris should have been main presenter with LE blanc and Rory and drop Chris Evans just my 2p.....Mark..

Agree, apart from Chris Evans i think the team works really well, the only member of the old TG i miss is James May: and i always found the "hamster" exceedingly annoying.

I don't mind Evans but he has been given Clarkson's script writer and it doesn't work.

Harris and LeBlonk make the show.

Chris Evans is the main reason the show has managed to continue after the departure of Clarkson/Hammond/May ...

Matt Le Blanc is the only other presenter on the show that has a personality (apart from Eddie Jordan but I don't know if he's going to be a regular).

Perhaps I'm being unfair but to me, Matt Le B advantage is his ability to deliver scripted lines with clarity, timing & conviction. Something he has a lot of experience in.

I'm not that familiar with Eddie Jordan, what type of personality does he have ? He appeared to be an overcooked, slightly confused old man... the butt of the joke ??

Also very shouty, a bit like Evans. Best keep them both out of it. The rest are great!

Caught some of it on holiday yesterday from the Focus on to the end.

CE is the weak part.
To me he simply just does not look right with the others.
The chap who did the Focusused all the usual cliches they all do now, but seemed to actually connect with his task rather than act it out.
Block adventure was very Top Gear, but good and worked well with Matt.
Hope I remember to watch the next one!

Sorry but I can't take anyone who says he'd rather have a Ford Focus than a Porsche, Ferrari, or any other 'supercar' seriously ...

he's been presenting online car reviews for quite some time though....

I liked the last episode. Even Evans was a little less shouty. It's got better with each one.

The worst bits by far are anything where they are with the audience and celebrity guests - they just don't seem to work the same or have the same feel. The celeb cars features is cringeworthy.

But everything else last week was good imho - the TG camera work is still the best there is by miles.
