looks like grandstand of choice for DDK'ers is going to be T34. I'm probo going to book seats there just so I have the option .. but to be honest a grandstand seat isn't really needed as you'll spend most of teh time wandering about + I prefer watching the actual races from down at Mulsanne or Arnage

Nope, grammatically this is right, more polite would be "Peter and me". You don't book camping for 'I' you book it for 'me'....

Same as saying "having a pint with Peter and me"

Pedants corner... or is that Pseuds? Never sure which....

**Edit**

And I've just noticed our resident editor was in there first.... That's definitely goodnight from I then.....

We'd been holding out to see if we could get seats in T18 ACO grandstand, but looks like we're out of option to get a seat i so we've booked T19.

I don't plan to spend too much time in the grandstand but if it's raining then it can be a god send as we found in a previous year.

I'd prefer to be in a stand with other DDkers around, but T34 gets a prety poor commentary from a viewing perspective, apart for being near other food/bar facilities behind the pits. Although it is above the pits, apparently you can't see into the pit unless you are on the front row, and those spaces get taken up first so if you are coming and going then little hope of finding a front row seat.

On balance I think Sarah and I will go for T19 as it does seem to offer a much better view all the way from the chicane leading onto the straight and then on up the hill, as well as a clear view of the pits. In fact pretty much the same view as T18 Tribune ACO stand.

If the weather is great, hopefully we won't be using it much in any case. Fingers crossed.

We can wave at you all directly across in T34

Hi James, can you tell me what is 'DDk parking'
I am assuming that camping includes parking at camp site which as far as I know is beside the circuit.
So assuming DDK parking is something else ?
Cheers

If you've got a parade lap you should have an infield parking spot allocated as part of it... But I will check with Brian

Andrew, camping plot is big enough to park your car and have your tent etc ... We are in bleu nord which isn't track side but close , just over the road from the grandstands so actually a shorter walk than we used to have from karting nord. The infield parking area is within the circuit and part of the show area where all the clubs park up . These infield parking passes are if you want to be part of the show rather than leaving your car on the campsite.....downside is it can be a bit of a que to get in
