I am as most folks know, MOMOcentric. That's because when you look inside a racing Porsche from the late '60s, early '70s you're going to see a MOMO. And, there is one very special, very rare prototipo that will continually show up in your favorite period photo of a 908, 910 and especially the great 917. It will have 3 spoke pads and will be slightly dished. The engraved name will be at the center of the bottom spoke. How lucky I am to own one of these really cool prototipos. As beat up as it is, its my all-time favorite steering wheel. (interior racing car shots courtesy of the Porsche Archive)

A Momo is like a Gentleman and a good claret.....they seem to improve with age!

Interesting that you say that Darren because Moretti was considered by many to be a true 'Gentleman racer'.

I would love to get my hands on an original Werks steering wheel from the late fifties or early sixties. These wheels look astonishing.

An original Werks wheel will be really tough to find. Karman Konnection makes a nice repro.

I've thought a lot about a book and have taken quite a few photos and written a significant amount of text. I don't know a publisher who'd be willing to take it on. Darren, here's the MOMO Monti Carlo I need the horn push for.

That is a very handsome wheel. The book needs to be written - who is up for it?

How about Crowdfunding it? Kickstarter or similar... plenty of low volume, special interest books get funded that way. I'd back it. :)

That Monte Carlo wheel is beautiful.

True enthusiasts you all are... Here's a pretty rare, prototipo style MOMO Monza. Usually a Monza will have a smaller diameter grip with no spoke pads.
