I collected my completed dizzy from Ben this evening and again mentioned about his site being down; he said 'it's been down for a couple of weeks now and it's great 'cause I don't have to deal with lots of silly enquiries!'......


....first time I've heard of someone being pleased because they're having to deal with fewer sales enquiries!.........go figure!


To be fair Ben did clarify that he feels he gets a lot of nonsense enquiries from people sat in front of a computer all day with nothing to do.......apparently he sometimes confuses the serious people with the idiots!

It's been Ben's 'philosophy' all along - that's why in the past he's preferred not to deal with 'the public'.

To be fair, I can understand why he feels reluctant to update/maintain his website as it must attract a lot of time wasters - after all it's his 'hobby'.

It's also the same reason that Russell Edmonds removed all of the photos/prices from his website.

If you're a serious buyer, you'll find a way of contacting them ...

....no doubt Andy although having been in sales for nigh on 30 years it goes against the grain!.....

...a good salesman can qualify and sort the wheat from the chaff pretty quickly...

....but then of course, Ben is an engineer!

Over the last week Ben has sent me a few photos of dizzy assembly....

...and this week I went to collect the finished article....great to comapre against an original...

Now all you have to do is get it to work properly......

...I added the condensers which need the wiring and brackets amended, other than that I think these looks pretty damn perfect ....

....I'm told a few coatings of WD40 will take away the shiny new gleam...

....dyno tested to ensure a perfect 13º curve and perfect in every detail.......do reproduction parts get any better?

Ben has lots of happy customers to date but then I guess you can't keep all the people happy all of the time!
