The secondhand 911 door handles i acquired didn't have keys so last night I rekeyed them using the new keys that came with thebeetle new door handle kit (cost £22). The driver side 911 barrel is slightly longer so left out the last 2 tumblers. Moving on to the passenger side door handle, the 911 barrel is the same length as the beetle one. Local autolocksmith wanted £60 to supply/cut 2 keys to the 911 barrels. Yeah right.

Betle and 911 tumblers are interchangeable
