If you wouldn't mind Mark that would be good.

I'm not in touch but was planning on sending a sympathy card through. realistically we couldn't get it round the country in time for people to sign it, but if you want I'll put that it's from his mates on DDK including... and then list everyone who's popped a message onto this thread.

Happy to change if anyone's got better ideas

Cheers

Please count me in too, sadly I never had the pleasure to know Ian really, but would like to contribute, it's the very least I can do, sounds like he was a real decent sort

Thinking about it some more, having a wreath that says 'DDK' wouldn't be right - it would almost be like we're advertising!

I'll just get a nice wreath - but before I do that I'll wait to hear what the family want - sometimes they say no flowers and nominate a charity. If flowers are accepted I'll sort out a wreath and ask for donations.

Regardless of the above I'll do what I said previously about the card

Probably just refer to ourselves as his 'UK Porsche Friends (DDK)' if that's what required? Though it's no different to sending from another social group or your friends at the local pub kind of thing.

Ian's wife has been to a couple of the DDK meets so she'll know who we are to some extent.

Just do what you think is best Mark, you're the most sensible one of us anyway.

My thoughts are with his family.

I met Ian at the C of G meet and really enjoyed his company.

Please count me in for a donation.
