Steve.

The POR-15 is not for drinking, sniffing or bathing in, despite being readily available in Warrington without a perscription

Hey Martin.
Good advice mate, its an absolute bugger to get off! Normally you don't believe a products reputation but this stuff is impervious to everything. I think it has a half life. Did you find those rusty old arches you wanted to offload yet ;)

Before a front screen scuttle strip..

You guessed it, tiny blister on edge of screen.. Reveals..

Yikes..

Taking another look today, the temptation was to fabricate up some nice new patches and cut out the bad and skilfully (?!) Weld in the new sections..

Having made a patch for the ns I test cut with my dremel to find just under the surface it is significantly solid and quite thick metal.

Think I'll just fix the seal eam on the ns.
The OS is a bit worse, deserves a small patch I think.

Skimmed the surface and cut out a bit of the edge. Had another practice welding a week tab o metal in place then grinding it back. Cleaned the car inside and out.

Tried one of my alloy to check the offset. Looks about right to me.

You can get a repair section for these bits if it makes it easier
The simple things you see are all complicated

Hi. Yeah I think the drivers side definitely needs it. Gonna put a repair panel in there. Should be fun.. The ns is good.

Not the easiest bit to do. Probably easier to do a full panel than fanny about like I did. The dansk panel was miles out too.
