What parts of the original shell will be left?

Good question.
There was always going to be a sacrifice with this rebuild, as the shell was in very poor condition when I embarked on the project.
The essence of my goal was to keep as much of the original shell as possible but at the same time weigh up the economies of scale between repair and replacement.
My estimation is 50/50 with old to new, and as much originality as I possibly find, source, repair, engineer, fabricate.

Thats a lot of metalwork!! looks like they're doing a great job, sure it will be worth saving

Been busy stripping and sourcing parts for the gearbox rebuild, thought I'd show you some of the buggered bits
Parts List:
1st gear slider
1st gear dog teeth
1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th gear synchromesh rings
Drive shaft bearing

BTW Garry, were they using that flypress for those roof rail tools, or was it something a bit more hydraulic?
