At €55+VAT I don't think so!
Thanks anyway

Drove it - it's going to be quite addictive. Goes like hot snot! Handles well 8) Stops on a sixpence
Few bits and bobs to sort out then over to Lee at Autoclassica to paint and fit the rear quarter bumpers and rear panel and to correct some earlier work done by others.
Should then be ready to put into storage for the winter

Agreed, I need one too. I can get quite creative for that kind of cash. I'd rather nip to Halfords cycling section before choosing that option!
I notice looking at the september DDK calendar, a nice car that needs a rear reflector too !!

My feelings entirely - picked up a pair of rectangular reflectors from my local accessory shop for £4 a pair yesterday. Very light!

Movement at last.... this should be the penultimate move for my car.
From Mike Bainbridge's place down to Lee at Autoclassica to carry out some final touches and some 'corrective' work to the body along with some 'snagging' items.
Decided some time ago to trailer it to Autoclassica because of the time of the year... it was a glorious day oop North yesterday but I had the smug satisfaction of folowing this for several miles

As it left MB's place:

Don't you just love the salubrious surroundings?

After Lee has finished his work the car will move to my place for final FINAL bits and pieces.
Have sourced a one piece fibreglass rear bumber (how difficult was that!) and Lee has a FG bonnet so might incorporate that, too

All being well it will be on the road in Spring THIS year!

Ooooooh, so close now Mick! You driving it to SPA? 8)

Any chance you can get the front number plate under the Bumper? Personally think it looks so much better....either way its going to be a great car.

Ever so slightly jealous

Nope, it's not going to Spa in May, but it might be there in September...
Needs a good few shake down miles first to make sure it's reliable.
If you look closely the front number plate is held in place with sticky tape, just enough to get the MOT. It will be under the bumper when it's finished.
