wow. I am just in complete awe at the level of dedication and skill shown in these restorations. I hope one day to be a customer, as it's clear that the various people working on this car are all passionate perfectionists who clearly love going to work in the morning!

Sorry, I have been meaning to update this thread. We have been working on the 2.2S shell in between other restorations so things have slowed down. We are finishing the restoration of a LHD 2.7RS touring, plus a 2.4T, 68 SWB car and so on. I will try and finish our web site soon so I can post a link to these and past restorations. Here is the LHD RS with a RHD RS.



The 2.2S is now body prepped and in primer and this has taken a lot of work. I grabbed some pics at work today. In the meantime other parts have been worked on.





We have refurbished the S front calipers



and make our own stainless steel pistons. Here they are but with some later S calipers we restored for a customer.



All the original window trim has been stripped, polished and re bright anodised.

Just so much goes into a full restoration rather than rebuild!
Huge effort and the result looks just amazing.
I'd never have the patience to get all that zinc plating done, let alone the accuracy of the restoration.

Do you have any images of the interiors for those two RS Touring cars? I'm finding it hard to find detailed pics of the Touring versions inside. I believe this version used the front and rear seats from the S model and also the same door panels, is that correct or where there any differences?

I'm also trying to find info/pics on trim options for seats, dash panel, door panels and headlinings etc for the Touring version so any help is much appreciated.

Also, those mirror polished S calipers, how did you get that fantastic finish?

I love the detail on the pedals, I haven't seen anodised pedals let alone gold and silver, that details level is stunning.

Thanks again for your comments. There is a small amount of progress to report this week.
I have rebuilt the door frames and the rear 1/4 window frames. These were stripped, re-polished and anodised. All steel parts removed and re-plated, plus the steel fixing bracket uses steel pins/rivets to hold it to the frame, as these were removed so these items can be restored correctly, we had to make some new ones which replicate the originals.

PS: Matt: if you need any RS info give me a call, I have pics of the interiors from all the RS we have worked on. Also the S calipers in a previous pic are anodised, basically in the same process in how we restore fuchs. HTH

We have now finished applying the sprayable sealer and the underside is now painted its original colour metallic silver. Seeing colour being applied has been a real mile stone in the restoration of this 2.2 S.
