finished the engine bay to day got the boy to put on some red lead , semed all leading edges etc , owen nw

colm started work on the strippng of the bits and pieces of the 912 engine lid and degreasing it before sanding it down for me , returning the favor owen nw colm helper ???

had a painfull couple of days , after everything going fairly smooth it all went down hill , da ed the black primer off, was put on in america , body is nice and straight , done some of the filling on the body went well , colm stripped the engine lid , . i then prepped for 2k primer, thats where it all went wrong, sprayyed it on and it all reacted with hte white paint underneath , not the original paint , the stuff some one painted it with before , so off it all came and started again fec

Wow. and it was going so well!
Just have to say that I love this thread. All the pictures make me live it with you. If you were nearer I'd do some sanding for you, but thankfully you're miles away!!
Keep up the good work, and you'll forget about all this when you're driving around with a big smile on your face!
