there had been 2 accidents on the M1 between Nottingham and Sheffield
the meal was fantastic. great choice James. (as usual) that and the company made the painful journey there well worth while.
the journey home was a breeze, roads were empty. we litrally had the M1 to ourselves at one point

Yup took me ages to cross the Derby/Notts border on the way hom elast night. Was hoping to ride shotgun with Bert but babysitting duties were in force whilst Alison was jollying it up at the School show.

And a belated thank you from me as well to James for organising such a great venue and for the quality food choices.
I enjoyed meeting up with you all and it was great that partners are so much part of DDK!
Traffic wise it was a bit of a nightmare: when I drove down south on the M1 to pick up Chris, I decided to go the long way to Skipton: A50-M6 to Kendall and then across to Skipton. How I wished this was in a 911 but alas.
I suddenly met the man with the hammer on the way down and Chris took the wheel of my car somewhere halfway... Arrived safely and still grinning
all the best,
Bert

Hello everyone, sorry for late reply. Good evening wasn`t it, thank you James, another triumph, the food was great and the staff were, I thought ,really friendly in a very un Yorkshire sort of way
Good to meet new faces... well old faces but new to me....not saying the faces were old.... just..... never mind, you know what I mean.
THANKYOU THANKYOU Helen and Larry for the fridge, just what I needed
sorry Hayley and I didn`t get to talk to you more before we left.
Iwas so busy trying to sort out our car, I hope Ididn`t appear rude
We took it steady on the way home with no water in the engine, lucky it was such a nippy night... ever come across an air cooled Volvo before?
Happy Christmas every body
Regards Mike and Hayley
P.s. where does the antifreeze go in my 911.

glad the fridge is of use. it seemed a waste to have it sitting in my spare bedroom un-used.
