Yes when I saw it I thought 'that's gone in 60 seconds' car - he was all over the forum like a rash and then I remember him buying that RS for 60 and then disappeared.
Can we see some pics of the engine
Oh and sorry - the car looks nice
If you look for members on here, find gone in 60 seconds and you should be able find all his posts - his early posts will be about importing this car from the US

Actually I don't think it's the same one

Looks VERY similar especially because of the polished Fuchs but the number plate is different (admittedly could have been changed) and rear bumper is different

Hi, no it's not that car.
I do have some magazine articles for the car but they are about it being winning Hill Climbs with Various racing drivers. Josh Saddler and Rod Carmen were two of the drivers.
The engine is a 3.5 single plug with RS cams and 964rs induction running on Motec. There is also a front mounted oil cooler and an additional pump for gearbox cooling.
It's also had a lot of chassis prep including RSR strengthening on the turrets and has lightweight doors, glass and other RS bits such as fuel tank.
It's a lovely car but just needs some love. I will be refreshing the suspension and brakes over the coming weeks as well as fitting some houndstooth seats and other bits and pieces.

I've been knocking around the forum for a year or so and i realised I don't think I've posted a picture of my car. Anyway - here it is- a 911T from '72. Originally Royal Purple but Black since 1980.

Thanks Darren. The 400mm steering VDM wheel I bought off you last year now steers her well

Lots of tweaks to be done this year but I'm going to try to get some more miles under my belt too.
