OK so I'm really too old to camp but needs must and funds are low...
Having never really camped before what's needed equipment wise?
I've got a tent, sleeping bag and one of them sort of self inflating foam mats...
What else do I need?

Some Euros to head to the local supermarche for the purchase of the essentials.......beer, wine and other random alcoholic beverages

Okay slightly more seriously, I really should't worry - there are plenty of us there and I'm sure we'll all pitch in if a DDKer needs a hand!

You might like to think about something to sit on for the more 'relaxed' moments also

in all seriousness, on eof the most valuable things to take camping is a pack of 'baby wipes' ..... usefull for cleaning everything ( including yourself

I'd spotted the thread, but unfortunately I work lates Mon-Thurs!

I'll try to find a way to make this one though.

BTW, who runs the 911 meet at the Dysart in Petersham?

Driven past there late from work many times when they're all spilling out, but typically I always seem to have the daily driver with me!
