Mike?
May I ask the following two questions?
Had the RS sold would you (& Brendan, of course) have kept and restored the prototype?
If the prototype reaches reserve (and I have no doubt it will) do you get to keep the RS (a mighty fine consolation!)?

Steve
The two things are not really connected. The barn find is a one off event (and a partnership) and the RS is more involved in my overall strategy for the coming years. (and I know Andy will want to sell his 904 a couple of weeks after finishing it

)

Mike

Has anyone tipped off PCGB, the early 911 register, pelican parts etc - I'm sure there are people on those forums (fori?) who would potentially be in the market but may not hear about it

There's some quality banter on there!
I wonder how many people will read 'the 31 pages of German blog talk'

Fantastic read... I am in Canada with my SWB '66 coupe, but hail from the Borders so this story has great resonance with me on so many levels. Fantastic work guys and I truly hope that the car ends up going to someone with the love and the money that the restoration will take!

Thanks for your kind comments Stephen. The Borders truly are a wonderful part of the country. Hope you enjoy Canada just as much. Stick around. DDK is a great place too.
