Andy, take your car to Crispin Manners at Oaktree Garage, Newton Poppleford. Nice little run from yours and he knows rather a lot about 911s...

Chris 2 The sunstrip came from a porsche decal supplier recommended to me on here but I can't find there name now....! very cheap and easy to fit, its the deep version which is apparently technically illegal for road use ?

I think any tint applied is illegal if the wiper blade crosses it in it's path of sweep.
Could be wrong but a police man told me that....a very long time ago when I had long hair.

Popping over to Simply Classics at Beaulieu tomorrow but made a little bit I've been meaning to sort today since its been a bit of a jobs day.

It clamps on the tank seam really securely.

Re: 75 S to R Homage
I hope the Supercar day today is better than Simply Classics....my local classic car do at the pub is as well attended and friendlier, I think Beaulieu has missed a trick with this event somehow, the thing felt second rate, not what a National Museum should be satisfied with.
Still the museum is worth a look round and the drive out and back was nice.

Glad I didn't go then. Hopefully the Simply Porsche event wasn't a fluke and maybe it was a case of "the right crowd" a la Brooklands!

Relieved to hear you're not selling that wonderful labour of love Andy.
Great film - and what a lovely part of the world we live in with some excellent driving roads, unfortunately we have to share them with tractors and trucks!

Hiya
I'm a bit behind the eight ball on this one, a lot of catching up to do, can I ask where you got your carpet from ? The stuff that is stuck to the body as well as the mats, it looks fantastic !
A great job as well. I know you may have "just" done an apprenticeship with the government, but that work you have done is CRAFTSMANSHIP my friend.
Brilliant
Thanks
Sean

Re: 75 S to R Homage
Hi, surprised to see this thread pop up again. The carpet is anthracite grey lining carpet from megavanmats (google it) I used their high temp contact adhesive. A surprisingly easy job but you need lots of sharp stanley blades and patience to form the curves and contours. The mats too were cut to my patterns and bound by megavanmats. The whole lot was less than £150 as remember.
Must update the pictures when the seats are trimmed in March.
Cheers
