Extra Gear is so much better.....less forced, less contrived, presenters not trying too hard.
I have to agree with this. For such a great presenter Chris is really the weak link in the team.

OK, well, Half an hour in - really liked the Laguna seca feature - esp making Evans vomit. Really really really liked the Chris Harris tdf film.

The Ken Block London Tour was very funny but didn't think much of the rest...

Recorded it as watched the F1...just watched it...me and the Mrs....was laugh out loud funny in places...great features and faultless mix of presenters.

Good TV, that.

(F1 was pretty dull though...especially after a week of IoM TT racing on TV and Rossi winning MotoGP in Spain....both epic!)
Best

Bit better this one, still too much of Evans "celebrity" bit was unnecessarily long winded - the laps were good didn't need the Evans interview technique.
Loved the 250TDF. More of that please.

It was better but still very poor, they are way off the addictive entertainment value the previous presenters had/gave it. Fast forwarded most of it

I think you must have watched the old series with rose tinted spectacles on - most of it was tosh with the occasional good bit thrown in.

I thought most of last nights show was good entertainment - the funniest bit was seeing the height difference of Kevin Hart and Anthony Joshua!

I've said it before but I stopped watching the old set up a good while ago - just got tired of it.

I've dipped into the new one and don't mind it - much the same with some fresh faces. Will continue to dip from time to time.

Have no interest in the 'The Grand Tour' which Clarkson and crew are doing on Amazon

I thought last nights was the best so far - mostly because we saw less of the ginger one. The rest of the presenters all come across really well. And there was some proper car content. Which probably means a lot of the general public wont like it that much as its not entertaining enough for them.
