The bumpers also came in for a lot of work, originally we weren't going to run it with bumpers but Steve later decided to get a pair which we then bare metaled, de-seamed and welded up all unwanted holes. These bumpers used to run overriders which we didn't want. Once de-seamed, welded up, lead loaded, filled and primed they were then ready for paint.

We also had these bumpers fitted with polished art Deco trim, not intended for use on these bumpers the trim was cut down to size, re-formed on the ends and re-polished

Its been a while since I added any updates on the build due to being so busy in the workshop with some really nice and interesting builds on at the moment. Its now almost finished and had its first test drive today and MOT. The car drives amazing and handles brilliantly, really comfortable and gets people staring wherever it goes. Just a full detail and polish before its ready to leave.
Here are a few more photos for the build process with more to follow.

That is really really nice. Looking forward to seeing some shots of it outside. Love the interior - think you nailed that.

Rear details

Going backwards a little here but just found this shot of the new loom going in. Original style bullet connectors used throughout

This photo shows the custom rear 1/4 panel trim I designed and the custom made carpet pieces sitting under the roll cage feet.

After waiting 3 months for the floor carpet to arrive and generally being messed around, I decided to make them myself. Photos showing the templates. I decided to go full carpet to give a more luxury feel to the car which also brings it more up to date and makes the car feel a lot comfier.
