During reassembly a can of protective wax is never far away for all those areas that will be hard to access when the car is complete.

Next big job is the engine build, got a bit of work to do there!

Nice work Jon, the E hasn't moved forward yet. The garage has been too busy finishing the 993 Turbo then work should start set the car onto the jig. All the metal is sourced so all good to go.

Too true!

Do you replace things to get the plated finish the same as the newly plated finished parts?
You must have changed some induction parts that worked but would look old in comparison, but you do build-in reliability.

What a nice car this will be when done.

Most parts are the originals re-plated or in the case of the aluminium parts they have been vapour blasted. Plastic parts are cleaned by hand.
