That's because they didn't do the welding, it was subbed out to "Wayne"
PRS also subbed out the interior trim
But everything else ( and there was a lot to do) was down to them
Just made it to Hessische, 380 miles with no problems
Not bad for a first shakedown trip.

Whether a vehicle is subbed out or worked on In-house, never underestimate the amount of time and control that goes into any restoration
Marcus`s car was a `One Off` and very different to the normal restoration.
It would have been much simpler to have totally restored the car, than it was to restore it from the Inside out and retain the Patina, which is what was actually achieved
That vision had to be imparted to the panel man and he had to be `brought on side` and in some ways it is a shame that the trim now hides Wayne`s skill
Go take a look at your car and ask yourself how you can replace the Inner Longitudinal`s without touching (or damaging the paint) on the Outer Steps and Sills
