My car of the weekend! 8)

If I'm being honest I have to say that seeing a guy renovating his own car behind some tarpaulin at the side of his house that I thought the quality might be…well….um……questionable!

Well I couldn't have been more wrong!….this car looks every bit as good in the flesh as it does in photos and pulls like a train through the twisty stuff! :P

Full credit to Mick for an outstanding job, and my apologies for ever having any doubt; the quality of your work is truly excellent! :salute:

Thanks very much James, that was a cracking weekend. Everything just came together to produce another classic DDk adventure.

The hotel, the roads, the weather, the cars, the company... Just the business. :)

Photos ? Nothing anything like as good as what has gone before, although Hayley did snap some around the tables at dinner. If you`d like to see yourself blurred, blinking or gurning, let me know. :)

Oh no, wait... just the one. Nicks car, Object of desire, :love7: what colour blue is that exactly, it changed throughout the day but always looked magical ?

Other cars I fell in love with were John M`s 911, first time I`ve seen it since the restoration... seemingly understated and very beautiful..... and Grannysmiths Targa, very nice to meet you at last Mick, I loved your car.

Also good to meet Darren (in the 993  ). There was a moment when there was just Sladey and I with the cars and a gentleman walked up and asked if we would photograph him infront of a car. He offered his camera and chose to be photographed with .....

Well, which would you choose ?

Yep, the black 993. Good thing you brought it.

Cheers, Mike.

Good company, good drive, good weather - what more could you ask for.

Thanks James for organising it and thank Ian for leading us along James route and doubling back when it looked like the twist bits were going to end

Very nice of you to say so. On the strength of that and the fact the wife went to bed I went out for a night time blast. Just had 40 minuets spent at 6000rpm clear night with no traffic on my fav local route, what a blast. These cars are just great. :drunken:
