Strange thing is correct !!! That turbo next to me won both the class and the car people wanted to drive home. I doubt he drives it much on the street.

You were up against some serious competition Sunday as it was the premier concours day (Saturday being the more relaxed pride of ownership concours day).

To have your car accepted for entry shows how good it is so don't be too disheartened. Concours may be a strange thing but it's a good way to learn things about your car.

Thanks Ian. I enjoyed our chat.

I should have mentioned, as you rightly did, that the Concours was literally a national event. It was further noted that the top cars will no longer be eligable for entry level.

Anyway, I learned alot, and may actually do the event again.

Dom - wouldn't you be marked down for everything in your signature - the ER bushing etc?
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

Sladey,

The Concours was strictly interior and exterior. Nothing under the bonnet or the boot areas. Possibly some dirt under the lip of the wheel archs, but that area was all wax-oiled.

Comments were promised. Let's see what they say.
