hi tom,
long time no speak...
the 912 is coming along, not!!
i had it painted over last winter, and it is gorgeous. ive bought a few bits and bobs off fleabay (lights etc) but its still sat in my workshop under a sheet.
id like it at least on the road for next summer though. plan on getting it rewired over this winter and put a vw (sorry) engine in.
hows things with you? did you get rid of the red 911 in the end?
cheers

Do you do anything as an alternative for us 914 owners?
Love the look of of both the twin tip exhausts.
I could also loan you my car to mock any up.
david
thanks for the comments...
i do plan on making headers/mufflers and also mufflers that will go onto std heat exchangers... but first i plan on only making muffler for the std h/exchangers. maybe both the single exit and twin exit...
ive been e-mailing a couple of guys over the last couple of months who were going to loan me there cars but nothings come of it yet... more than happy to have your car in and use it to mock things up...
if you want to chat, my number is 07817602239, wont be able to talk today as i'll be with my boy but if you text me your number i could give you a call lunchtime today when hes asleep...
cheers
rich

I picked it up from Rich this afternoon and have just driven the 3 hours or so back.
WOW!
It sounds beautiful on tickover - deep. Cruising at 80 it sounds great and all the way through the rev range - wonderful.
It looks wonderful now it's been polished.
I can't recommend this guy highly enough.
More pics in the next few days.
