Have one big hurdle to overcome, the injury to my right shoulder could stop me jumping out of the car..but I'm going to Prescott.
Jonathan, have you seen who/what else. Is in my class?
A 7.3 litre MP 92!
Engine is very responsive, sounds great to me, and I'm sure will run to 8 but with diminished power.
I'm surprised those G60 Cams fall off, Iexpected about 7400 rpm.

We shall see how we get on.

Power will increase when combustion chamber gets a layer of carbon on it ............... I don't know why , but it will !! Guess 1 to 2% positive. On a rally engine it was after circa 500 miles from memory - but related to run time I expect rather than distance.
Note this was deemed to be related to carbon , rather than the "loosening up" of the engine ............. odd I know.

Is it the cams or is the breathing restricted with port and valve size ? ….

I don't know to be honest.
The 3.2 heads are about as good as you can get in size and valves.
I need to read the Anderson book again to see what they say.
Another question is choke size.

The PMO's are 50mm with 38mm venturies. Bob Watson felt that was right, but on the current PMO site the choke range does not give 38mm but 39mm. At $100/£100 a set I'm tempted to fit 39's and see what happens.
Ideally, the carbs should be 46mm, 50's are too big, more correct for a 3.5 litre.
For now the engine should be nice.

It was also interesting to see Ben changing gear so easily so I hope that difficulty may be better too.

Going to be an interesting event over this weekend.

Graham, I will stretch the rpm to avoid a gear change!
This time round i have the confidence to go further as the engine is mechanically capable, always thought the stock engine was fragile.

Are you racing on 23rd?
