Sounds like a great weekend! Unfortunately the time limited offer of having my wife and kids with me on Sunday ran out before your race so I didn't get any pictures.

I have to take them with me every now and again to remind them why I'd normally go on my own ;)

We are taking two 356's to Spa 6 hr meeting for Pre 63,Woodcote and Gentleman Drivers.

Not sure if any other 356's are going?

Aim is 3 16 lap time having failed to get under 2 42 at Silverstone and 2 23 at Ring.

It's about same time as our Altas fastest lap and we use that as measurement.

Will be interesting as Mark Eskuche, the top U S 356 driver and competition is comming over to drive the car that he originally built and prepared.

He will have a surprise with difference in racing standards!

New pair of FIA nomex underwater required probably!

So the Pre A has managed a 3 15 and the 2 litre car should do 3 13/14 today should the weather stay reasonable and track in good shape.

We picked up a couple of pots with the cars yesterday but am disapointed that the T6 GT managed to be used as a breaking devise by a Morgan at pits chicane.

It's a superb car and we enter Pre 63 as its clean racing but even this class is becoming a bit of a banging session. Not impressed.

Steve Wright and some Porsche superstar owners were about in Spa paddock and watching what is one of the greatest Historic Racing events Spa 6 hrs.

A brave team entered a T 5 road car knocked into race trim.good on 'em!

Decision is that we do not race this afternoon as the T6 is to good to race with the present need for other people to bash into other cars.

The T6 is stunning John - one of the nicest cars at the meeting. Seriously! Do keep racing it. Best wishes, Robert

John how did your friend from America enjoy driving at Spa?

Steve here is an amazing fuel tank placement for your consideration!

In the passenger footwell to lower the centre of gravity?

Hmm, interesting... You need a steel firewall between the tank and driver, and I can't recall off the top of my head but I think the tank needs to remain in the original location for appendix K historic racing.

Well we've finished the season. Not a spectacular one as we've not placed in the Guards Trophy championship, primarily as we didn't do enough of the race series. However we finished every race and took on average 5 seconds off our previous years lap times at the circuits we did compete at. Snetterton was the highlight for me with a 15th overall and third in class.

As usual we have a host of developments to make to the car, mainly around suspension and brakes, which we'll start on shortly.

Cheers

The regulations on the US race series do seem to be very different from FIA.
