It's an eclectic mix, maybe Prill is off loading his personal collection ?

I can definitely see him in that pink one. :)

Edit, the waffle would suggest so.

Only just seen this, but you mustn't believe everything you hear about barracuda's! We spent 20 mins playing with one earlier this year and he didn't want to know about our shiny watches, silver go-pro or my daughter jewellery, he was only interested in the ham sandwiches......

Can't remember how to embed a video but here's the link...... https://vimeo.com/252371185

This is exactly why you should never send your vintage watch back to the maker for a service!

They take off all the valuable parts and replace with new rubbish! The finished product looks stupid and is worth a lot less.

To be fair the guy was oblivious to what to replace and what to not when he gave it to them and Omega did return all his original parts.....

Was in Somlo antiques today in Burlington arcade.....they've just sold an Ed White for 22k

To mark 25 years of endurance marriage to me Dr No bought this for me from Heuer Heritage of this neighborhood. I am very very pleased with it. A few straps in and it's now part of my arm.Image Thanks Bootsy and IsabelImage

My pleasure, as I said to you selling a watch for a special occasion is the best. Cool watch, enjoy!

I'm having a bit of a sale to fund a new purchase, so unfortunately this pair have to go - ideally I'd like to keep both (especially the Mk2) but doesn't make sense - I don't get much opportunity to wear a watch as I'm either at work where I'm not allowed to, at home where I am fiddling with cars and walking the dogs, or at the farm getting covered in horse s#*t!
The plan is to thin the "collection" down to one or two I really really want, hence these two are on the block..

Image

..I've created a thread in the "parts/misc for sale section" as I have a few pics and things I don't want to clutter up this thread with
If anyone is interested or wants some more details PM me or reply to the other for-sale thread

Further to the post above, a recommendation:
The return leg of the 25th Wedding anniversary giving/receiving of watches was completed last week with the arrival of the gift for my lovely wife. A beautiful late '20s art deco platinum and diamond cocktail watch. Incredible detail, very small manual wind with a stunning mother of pearl dial. I'll put up a pic soon, but the point of this post is to sing the praises of https://empress.cc/
Tal the proprietor is likeable, patient, helpful, patient, helpful and does beautiful work. His customer service is exceptional and the whole experience of choosing a watch from his collection was positive. Check his stock out and tell him I sent you! W
