Chris

How many hours do you think you spend a week on the car?

I am intending to do a project one day, and want an idea of just how possible it is to juggle with life.

John - you don't think he has a life do you? This is actually a form of day release sponsored by the german prison system - sort of a 'care in the community' type thing. In between times he's banged up 24/7 - though I don't fancy his chances for kitchen duties when they see the roundels thing......

How hot do you need to get the plexiglass marking tool to melt the imprint without burning? I'd love to do my plastic see through bits....

Hi Andy,

I used a mini blow torch, and heated it for about 15 seconds...though it is still abit trial and error. The best way I found to mark the plastic was to put the stamp in a Pillar Drill, that way constant pressure can be applied, though of course the plastic needs to be out of the car for that process.

I you like, I can send you the two stamps (brass and aluminium) and you can have a play around with them.

Cheers
Chris
