Unfortunately a LHD-to-RHD conversion does not fall within the five points generated by an unmodified monocoque or unitary body. A similar question has been raised regarding Morris minor convertible conversions, carried out using factory-spec parts. Although the end result is identical to an original factory-built car, because the chassis number tells a different story, it won't be accepted.911hillclimber wrote: Keith: any chance of asking the person who advised on wings about my RHD conversion?
I think the DVLA will ask if the car to be taxed is "modified" not "significantly modified"
Regarding 'the question', it would appear that you will be asked if your vehicle is eligible for exemption from MOT.
