10 years, 10 years ........ I have trouble finding bits I took off 10 months ago, and even more remembering how said bits fit together. No matter how many digital photos I take there's always one angle I've missed, and no matter how many boxes and margarine tubs I label there's always one bit that went to a 'safe place'. Not running yet since I'm still trying to find an economic way to plumb the cooler.
But it cranks and I have 12v everywhere I should have. All the lights etc still work after my re-wire Setting up carb float levels tommorrow ( thanks Chris).
Amazing how much lower ( too low) its sitting now and I think the @phones will look awesome when they are finally bracketed.

Fuel pressure set at 31/2 psi , float levels all set at bang on level using Chris's super little gauge. ( I''ll post it back next week , thanks so much)
I got really peeved shimming the valves and sanding thickness off the little shims to get perfect settings so thought laterally and with some careful measuring and lathe set up found I could skim material off the underside of the needle valve sealing flange to give perfect and repeatable adjustments
.Probably too much hassle for most but it made me happy 
Just making a nice bracket for the phones to incorporate a towing eye...sorting the cv joints to take gaskets...chasing oil system parts and it may run...........

A snap of machining CV joints to take the requisite gasket, If only I could identify the right boot underneath is nearly finished .
