Just found the magazine.
The 911E was run by Kevin Joynson, JBL 'All around the Office'
He had a mailing firm too.

Magazine was August 1989. :)
This was when I had almost finished my own 911. :drunken:

Another one.

I think this one was raced by Kevin Morfett:

I considered buying this car from Kevin back in the late '80's/early '90's (can't remember exactly when !)

I'm fairly sure this is the same car (originally a RHD 911E registered PYP 922L) that was previously owned by Vic ...

.
You know I think that car lives round the corner from me. Has lollipop seats in it.

Today I believe belongs to a great guy who works on r& d for cosworth
Correct. Julian, and he dose indeed live round the corner. I’ll have to drop him a line. I’m sure he would like to see a picture of his car.

That link answers my earlier question about Mike Burtt’s car....appears they are not one and the same, current car which he occasionally hillclimb is a 73, the one carrying number 3 in the series was a 74.

Fascinating to see how many of these cars live on as road cars after hanging up their helmets!

Apologies for the poor scans from prints. This is Donington Park again, Josh Sadler followed by Graeme Bryant (with Mike Burtt ahead?)
Image

Packing up after a Silverstone meeting in 87/88 was abandoned due to fog. Josh gave me an unforgettable display of 911 driving on damp roads on the way home in the 3.2 racer

If you’ll excuse the thread drift, the 930 GpB above reminded me of this. Who can name the drivers in the winning Autofarm team from this Donington relay?

I believe the car on the right is the arrow blue 934 which was restored a few years ago and featured here

Great pictures Al, but is that first one really Castle Combe? Best wishes, Robert

Yes, that's the ex-Kiemele 934 owned by various, including Gavin Watson who drove/shared a 930 in the Giroflex series.

Is that John Bell (who owned the car after Gavin Watson) sitting on the front?

Last one, Fast Lane magazine from March 86, with a feature on ‘Five of the Best’ from Autofarm.
Josh’s 3.5 hill climber is in front, while the silver SC with 3.4 conversation at the back later morphed into the 3.2 Carrera in the shots above.
