Replaced everything on mine (except engine & gearbox) at least once - got to know the parts manager (Stan Kilcoyne) at the Factory quite well over the phone ...

Yes, they do look like some of the Campagnolo designs used on'70's Lamborghinis, etc - but they're not Campagnolo wheels ...

When i was at University in the late 80's, i bought a TVR Vixen Series 3 - Longer wheelbase, Cortina Mk 2 rear lights - from a girl in Sale. Great car but a real shed on wheels as i had no cash to make it nice. I was at Manchester Uni and one day a friend and i went to the factory in Blackpool on a whim. We got treated like royalty, the factory staff came out to look at my crappy vixen. We got shown round the factory including a look at the 'secret' prototype of what was to be the Tuscan. Fantastic day out, great people, great if idiosyncratic cars - shame it went out the way it did. Really big fan of the 289 HiPo Griffith/Tuscans .....

One of the most hair-raising car journeys I've ever had was being driven by Gerry Marshall in a V8 Tuscan demonstrator back in 1970 (?) when he worked at the Barnet Motor Co (TVR Dealer) ...

I seem to remember the factory was 2 sheds ,one for Trevor s bodies and the other for assembly ........all great guys
