Just watched it. It's on Iplayer catch up on Sky. Was MUCH better than the actual programme ....

Watched the last 10 mins of the CE show with Landie/Jeep towing the Reliants up the hill.

Same stuff as before with the Trio, but now with the new presenters to tolerate.

We don't HAVE to watch these programs, but strangely feel we should, and it should be good?

Bet we will all watch next Sunday....

Extra Gear should be on BBC2, although I have no idea who Rory Reid is.

Missed it. We were having a TG adventure of our own sprinting back from the German hosted 914 International meeting in torrential rain. Some unbelievable tailgating, an inch of standing water, caught without targa top fitted but staying dry over 80mph, awesome performance from Vredestein sportrac 5's, my 15 year-old son getting into map reading, 37mpg from the still injected 2.0 & a box of leftover spare ribs in the frunk.

Its a feature - not a fault sir..

Thought it was a bit flat - too similar and frankly lazy.

ExtraGear? It is on for 6 weeks - is it way to introduce Rory Reid and Chris Harris to broadcast presenting?

I actually quite enjoyed it tonight. Evans still annoying but they've toned him down a bit from last week.

Just watched on iplayer and this one was better, although I still think following the old format too closely

Definitely better.....but God he just shouts and shouts and shouts and then shouts a bit more. Still fast forwarded through a fair bit of it.

Extra Gear is so much better.....less forced, less contrived, presenters not trying too hard.

I like the presenters both past and present but it's the same tired and inane format that still lingers and holds no interest for me. It's the production team and writers that need changing not the presenters.
