Leaving it with Lee at the moment and hoping that he can come back with more info at some stage in the future. From what I can tell is that no-one has seen this car in 20+ years. I hope it's been well preserved - sounds like it - would dearly love to see it.
The guys has had the car for 30+ years but haven't driven it for a long time! I asked the son if he'd sell it but the father don't really know what to do with it. I tried to view the car but haven't heard anything. The son knows what its worth. The son said its in good condition but who knows. It was nearly put on the road for the 50th anniversary. But never made it.
I know where another is but a later car. Trying to get the details. The son said it has all of the original stuff from new. Not molested in anyway except webers. An interesting car. I love light ivory!

Hi Reza - good of you to drop by the forum. If you've any new pics of you car be sure to post them on the thread- same if you've a link to your restoration. Keen to start comparing, then cataloging, some of the subtle changes to spec over the My65/66 period.
2632 is a new one to me - although i do have chassis 2631 (but no hard evidence that it still exists) and that as being a NZ car, could it be the same for 2632? Nothing has turned up yet for either - If you've info on either cars could you share with us, and I'll then add to the database? I've got 21 cars on my MY65/66 list, albeit two may slip into the "known LHD/RHD conversions" but it looks like the numbers will pass the 20 mark soon.

A early 911 chassis has be discovered and the database updated.
As documented on another DDK thread chassis 302618 has just been sold by Mark at RS911. It is believed the car will be restored possibly as a race car but this hasn't been confirmed. The original interior, engine and other running gear are missing.
If the new owner of this car would like to come forward I'll add details to the database as well as any information regarding the cars proposed restoration.
Two cars from this batch of 911's have now been discovered 302618 and 302620. I'm have details of the missing car 302619 - a golf blue UK car but as yet no details of this have surfaced so cannot confirm if it has survived or not.

Some first pics of chassis 304118 - one of the 4 MY66 cars located here in Northern Ireland.
The owner, Alan Courtney, has allowed me to post a few pics (which are also in the database) - the reg is original OGJ 5E if anyone on the forum has any history that would be good to add at some stage. Alan is restoring the car to use in historic rallying. The original paint code is missing as is the original engine, but does have a period engine for it.

With so few 1965 first series cars in the UK I cannot see the logic of this thread.
Now restoring chassis 300764

I have bits and pieces of paperwork on 302 973 and 307 265
I have no idea whether these are Right or LHD Cars - The papers came with other stuff
If you have either of these 911`s - you can have the paper but do not get too excited
@@@
I owned 302 629 for a little while in 1998 - (long enough to sell it)
I have a wad of paper on this one including the Kardex
Same comment - if you own the car you can have it

HI Mike was 302629 RHD by any chance? Its in the correct range of numbers that could have been, but I have no details either way. The other two cars I have no details of either.

Sorry - I was talking rubbish AGAIN - the car I owned was 302 620 (NOT 9)
Yes - 302 620 was RHD
Original Motor 902 692
Original G`box - 223 477
Gulf Blue / Black Vinyl - (6603 B)
Original Registration LJJ 12D changed at some point to VRW 10 and then back to FMJ 250D (by me)
Commencement of Guarantee - 8/10/65
Engine and Gearbox had been changed prior to my ownership and colour to Royal Blue
I sold it for Track use and retained the VRW 10 which is on my everyday hack
Looking at the paperwork I had - it looks as if I sold it with its original Motor & Transmission, which I had bought separately from the car
Hope that this is helpful
Mike

..... from the measurements and fitting instructions written on the frame it was a German manufactured roof, but no more detail than that (other the assumption that it wasn't a Porsche factory supply).
