What a great way to spend a couple of days off - in great cars, with great company and on some lovely roads. And of course, in Wales!!
This is where it all started - I think this gathering tripled the price of my house in Cardiff!!
But it wasn't all smiles the night before ............ when someone locked their keys in their car
After an hour of us trying to open the doors, we called the AA man who tried courageously but failed. In the end, it was Will who had a brain wave and got the keys by reaching through the instrument pod. While it got the job done, it certainly wasn't pretty ....

What was pretty was the line up of cars and of course Wales. the trip reminded me how much I love the place.
The cars attracted lots of positive attention which was nice
We made some nice stops for lunch made all the better by the stunning weather

While the Groes Inn is hardly a well kept secret, it is a lovely place to stay and serves fantastic pub food. Room are big and very comfortable. There is a library and the pub is very charming.
The views out of the window aren't bad either

Plenty of animated discussion about the driving while others checked their oil.
While others admired the view

Funny enough I found this ........ so you are not the only older gent needing frequent stops!
Although you never seemed to be too far behind! I wonder what Dazzler is looking at (or looking for)?

And not to forget the last lunch stop - lovely food and a lovely setting. Really makes the cars look pretty as a picture, even Will's hooligan machine!
Blood brothers!
And Nigel's really very beautiful RS. I found myself stealing glances at it at every opportunity - the colour looked just superb in the sunshine. What a gorgeous car owned by a lucky and very deserving chap who isn't afraid to use it.
Looking forward to the next trip already. Might do a more relaxed trip in the SC if I can sneak away for a couple of days.
Thanks guys for the great company and memories. looking forward to seeing the videos.

I recognise many bits of that. Can you post up a google maps overall route if you have time. Good to keep a record of these things.
If truth be known I've no idea where we were but I can tell you where we stopped for lunch.....dinner....breakfast!
