Thanks for the answer Bob.

When I checked my records I found a power/torque trace for my other porsche , 1992 964RS with full engine management system and showing even more wobbles ( 4 peaks this time ! )....that car drives OK so the 911E/S should drive OK tomorrow at its first Goodwood trackday since you 'fettled' it
