Mmmm....Massive Attack too - good point. I got right in to them back in the day. Still sound amazing now. This is great! I actually changed all the CDs in the family wagon this morning, and realised a 6 CD changer is nver enough.

DJ Shadow? I bought a DJ Shadow CD in 1999 in Vancouver. Must find it as I haven't seen it in years.

My list of more than 10 in no order would be something like

Depeche Mode (or anything with Vince Clark in it)

*edit I saw the Wedding Present a couple of times too back in the day, have most of their early stuff somewhere too. Some muppet in the crowd kept chanting Leeds Leeds Leeds which always goes down well in Sheffield

60's brit, Kraut rock, punk, post punk, psychobilly, Old school house, ambient, after that lost interest. IMO the 'X' factor Simon Cowell mentality killed music stone dead. Now the record labels do not need to send out hordes of talent scouts to seedy clubs up and down the land in the hope they MAY sign the latest thing that MAY provide a return. Killed creativity stone dead IMO and music has been in a rut ever since. You know you're ageing when

1. Policemen look young

2. Modern music ceases to interest you

3. You tune into radio 2!!!
