Well done Owen.
Just one thing: I see the gauges are still in. Might be worth covering them before any welding or grinding sparks burn into the glass

now have all welding done , just have from behind the seats back now to do , stripped the front axle from the car , stripped everything to the metal , primed and 6 coats of shinneey black . i have to replace 2 ball joints 2 track rod ends rubbers steering joint and front pads , not cheap lol get pics up to night owen

But there again with Spiderman at your side you could probably tackle anything!

i ve enjoyed this resto very different to my usaul vw beetles campers , very rewarding , then you look at what the professionals can do , theres no comparission . but we can only seat back and learn , thanks owen nw

got more work done , front suspension finished ,rear stripped of , gear box out and over on its side so i can get the edges tidied up prepped an painted , just waiting for my new rear shelf owen nw
new fire wall remade fitted
rear seat area remade too

getting stuck in I can see from the photo's of the steering rack it's that top rubber I am on about.. I doubt you will get a good one s/h they are all shite!!!
just one of those items you have to dig deep on.. plus you can replace it easy now.. just imagin it inthe car to replace later!!!!!!
