And thats it for now!!! Must be quite satisfying for Barry to sit at his computer with a large mug of tea at the end of this week and read through what he has done 8) 8) 8)
Great update!

Impressed by Barry's work rate ! It's almost going to be a shame to paint this shell and hide all the work

The secret has been revealed: Mulligatawny and Rolo's!
The way that metal seems to "drape" over the hammer forms....like fabric. Mind blowing.
Thanks also Barry for the welding explanations. Truly blows my mind the resourcefulness and quality. Cheers, John

Lovely work Adam you must be really pleased... I know what it's like to open up your email and find one of Barry's updates in your inbox. :)

Love the strategic bolts on the hammer form - can see how that really ties it down at key points

Seats are done, Garry just on with parcel shelf and panels. Can't wait to see the transformation! Bonus too as rear seats were in good original condition too so Garry advised just cleaning them up.

Just waiting now for the plastic bits for seat bases to arrive from Stoddards (America) which hopefully should be any day now. Different ball game ordering from across the pond but well worth the wait and they have been very good to deal with

Got a pleasant surprise call this week from Garry at Visualfx as all seats done apart from the bases as still waiting for the small plastic pieces from Stoddards. Think I'm 4 weeks into waiting for the parts and latest email claims they have departed via airmail and will be minimum 2 weeks, possibly more if stopped at customs :( think they must be coming over the Atlantic via a bloody Zeppelin

Anyway, Garry asked if I could collect the seats as running out of room....I was already down in Oxford with family so popped down to collect.

As you can see I decided on a black interior again with perforated leather seats including all period vinyl for the rest

Really really pleased with the results. What a great guy to deal with who clearly loves what he does. Excellent service and the quality of their workmanship is awesome!

As I had two passenger seats in the car when purchased I had to buy a drivers seat from America. Therefore I had a spare seat (lhd drivers) which Garry stripped, fitted some new foam and webbing and recovered. As there is only one seat, Garry gave me the covering for its matching seat, if anyone has the other seat and he could match up with this.
The base is a 73 double locker.
Ideally looking at £2750.00 but open to sensible offers before it goes on eBay
