I think your earlier "mirror on a stick" that you had years ago was more suited to your car
But it's your car of course!

As you say Mick, that was years ago. I've grown up alot since then and now appreciate the finer things in life :)

Back then.....I even thought it was a good idea to paint the car with a roller

Petrol tank sandblast before painting....

Image

Nothing special about a Sandblast booth you may think, but this belongs to a guy I met who lives down the road from. He built it himself above his garage !!!

Image

Even more impressive is the filter unit he built that runs off a 12 Hp compressor !!!

Image

My Oil tank needed some soldering work, which he did for me also. Just to make sure it was clean inside, he dropped it in the Ultrasonic bath he has in the garage !!!

Stefan, my new best friend, is 9 years into the restoration of a 4 door 1938 Opel olympia, apparently there are only 4 left in the world . Will share some pics of that later, probably 50% has been re-fabricated including petrol tank and wings, and I thought I had it bad :)

Cheers
Chris

My Clutch eventually arrived last week, so I can finally plan to install the engine
