I am coming too !

Post by Jez 356 »

I have a green card from the missus (and baby) !!

Think I will be coming on the ferry a day later so arriving on Friday and leaving on Sunday afternoon !!

Just sorting everything for my skiing trip at the end of Jan before I can get the funding organised for this trip too !

It will be quite odd driving a left hooker on the other side of the road !

The excitment is building again :)

Looks like the Caen convoy will be meeting the Eurotunnel convoy at Thursday lunchtime somewhere north of LeMans, I think Phil has suggested somewhere on the P. C . G. B forum :)

Trying to find a passenger

Post by Jez 356 »

Guys

I am currently trying to find a co pilot for the trip !

If I can not get a mate to come then if anyone is struggling to finish their project then this could be their option !

I will keep you posted, due to this I have not made any bookings

All the best

Is there any word of the information from Porsche Club GB yet so we can book the tickets etc?

No news from Porsche Club GB (can someone change the 'Pink Cuddly' automatic thing . . . as it's getting on my tits having to type more than I have to . . . plus it hardly helps 'relations' . . or is that the point).

I've asked them to call me as soon as the booking form arrives. Once I get one I'll scan it and post it on the booking thread).

Cheers Phil

Cheers Phil,

Your efforts are much appreciated, especially as I don't seem to be able to log into the P C G B forum this week (IT have been playing with my computer, which only ever brings misery...)

It might be worth mail-shotting the Early 911 register with all the Classic Le Mans details once the ticket info is available

Well at least two of us from Germany will make the trip...not much time to read through 17 pages  but I have some questions:

If we meet up...is there camping space already reserved? I will try and take a look tomorrow evening on the price list and such, but that is just details I will have to figure out.

So me and John (bascobites) will be there. :)

Likewise I'm happy to email all registered forum users once we have details.

You need to book the campsite (maison blanche) direct with ACO. As most of us will be there Thursday afternoon we should be able to 'reserve' / mark out a good camping area :)
