Haven't heard it yet . Will get it this weekend .
However ,
this week has been all about Sleaford Mods . Watched them at the Ritz in Manchester on Wednesday .
Not everyone's cup of tea but the best gig I've been to in years .

Daniela Andrade.

I've ended up with a system that does female vocals really well and it's a joy to listen to this lady, melodiously mellifluous and the production is crystal.

She hasn't done much, half of it is covers... it's her version of Gnarls Barkley's Crazy that pricked up my ears.

... obviously the aim was to harness enough sub base to occasion internal organ displacement and sufficient volume to induce nausea but despite years of fine tuning and a stack of equipment that has cost more than the gross national debt of a medium sized country in Central America..... I have a system that is perfect for listening to Taylor Swift.

Kill me now.

Just 'discovered' these guys https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVqZPUnpxTE

The Jim Jones Revue - a year after they broke up ! Bugger.

Proper LOUD rock and roll - electric guitars, drums and a piano. And a lead singer with a bit of attitude.

I've seen the Jim Jones Revue live a couple of times - amazing energy on stage!

He's started a new band - Jim Jones and the Righteous Minds - seem even heavier than the Revue

Tinsel and Lights by Tracey Thorn (yes, she of Everything but the Girl)
She has such a brilliant voice and it's a Christmas album I listen to at any time.

Dodge and Burn by The Dead Weather, makes a small change from the heavier stuff I usually listen to.
Oh and am going through a Sigur Ros phase and loving it. :)
