Lot of love here for Royal Blood who are great, but another new 2 man band are Dolomite Minor,
broke through last year and tipped for great things in 2015. Seeing them next month.

My brother-in-law told me a great story of how he used to catch the train back in the evenings with Curtis.They's be on the train with Curtis wondering if he should quit his job to focus full time on the band. B-i-L telling him very certainly that the job center was a good steady job,etc.etc. and that Curtis should stay there....

Just got round to watching it for myself tonight .
Even though I've heard most of the anecdotes regarding Ian many times before both in print and film it still sends shivers down my spine especially when shown against the backdrop of Manchester in the seventies and eighties . I never saw Joy Division live but did go to see lots of other bands in the pubs and clubs mentioned in the film . Manchester really was like a bomb site back then . Always good to see the late great Tony Wilsons unflinching championing
of his home town .
