when this 912 came it had the 1600 twin portvw van engine in it , as i can t afford the porsche one ill go with what i have , so took it down to a mate dave whetley ie caddy in dungannon to have it checked over , got it going no bother as it was runniing when it came , topped up oil , put on a petrol pump, robbed , and coil , it fired up , on stripp down it soon was realisied that all wasn t as seemed , 2 pots had broken finns , one was blowing to one side , so dave stripped on , it need s new crank, bearing , heads are perfect just needs valves reground , gasket set pistons pots barrels etc , and what ever he has to do . so i have all the tin ware down for blasting , and painting , have a noisey , so many looker s no comments ?
