There'll be a number of cars from PCGB on the ferry as well. Should have a good number. As it's such a short(ish) route having a large convoy shouldn't be a problem.

Greetings from the dark side (PCGB member trying 'another way' ). I'm also on Portsmouth/Caen ferry for what it's worth.
A lot of you guys have done the Classic before. How does it compare with the 'normal' Le Mans on the camping front? I've only experienced Karting Nord where you need police tape to protect your pitch. Or do we just circle the wagons
2004 was a very chilled out / relaxed affair We camped @ Maison Blanche (sp?) at the far end and there was plenty of space. 2006 is looking likely to be a lot busier . At least we all get there on the Thursday so have plenty of time to get a good spot as I think the DDK area will have to be quite big
Quite a bit different then. Last year we had the spectacle of 'Rover man' driving round the camp site on Sunday night with a sequencing firework display box (lit of course) strapped to the roof-rack
Must have been something to do with the need for liquid cooling - and I'm not talking about H2O
Just finished reading all 13 pages !!!!!! One thing I still do not have a feel for is what the total cost might be !! Very keen to book the ferry from Portsmouth - the 356 will not even have warmed up much from my house to there !!
Looking at that cost being about £250 would we be looking at about £500 in total ?? Or are we are all waiting with baited breath for the PCGB update in January to finalise the deal ?
An idea would swing it for the ferry booking if anyone would like to comment ? Also I presume the 356 brigade would not be left behind by the 911 boys ?!?!?!?!?!? If they could that is !!!!!!!
