Thanks very much for those pictures, they look great and it's always good to see the real history of a car. It's easy to forget that they've been somewhere else for quite some time!
I believe the black car went through Fisken, from agentleman in Yorkshire , abt a year or so ago at £200 ish ..................i missed it ,tried to buy it back,think it went to Southern France dont know current owner or if it s on offer ...............

My RS (original white ) came from the Mexborough collection.
I followed a white 3.0RS towards Dorset recently - we made quite a convoy down the A30 until he turned off at Shaftesbury. Was wondering if it might have been Nick Faure: I believe he hails from 'round there and is also a 3.0RS owner

No arguments from me James , poise is unbelieveable and that one has to be one of the best ...................my ultimate ,just dont have £400+ ,small detail!
The fat ugly blue one delivered to a [then] dentist in Surrey thence to its current home , does nt look too bad does it ???
Dont feel too sorry for the dentist he got some other Pork to play with ................
Dont think Mr Faure owns a white one at mom , but who knows ,yes his current domicile that way ................there are at least 3 i know of currently in UK ......

Good eye, yes the photos are from Hockenhiem. Here is another shot of Hanspeter (original owner) driving the RS as intended at the track.
Many of the orignal colors we now think are so cool were covered up in the the late 70's and 80's. My friend Jim Schrager (of Sports Car Market mag.)has the only Leaf Green RS still in existance. The sad part is it too was repainted white in the 80's and Jim refuses to repaint it back to original
