at first i thought it was a 2000gt celica, but now i've looked a bit more carefully it's totally the wrong shape to be one of them..

And somewhat predicatable.
If you look back over the last 50 years of Pebble Beach pretty much all of the winners came from the last decade before WW2 (1928-1939).
I'm not saying that's wrong, they were some very fine coachbuilt cars built for the wealthy in that era.
I just wouldn't enter an early 911 if you're trying to get a trophy.... :wink:

Bugger, I'd planned to win next years with the brown (with vinyl roof) Austin Princess I'm restoring :P
