Here's a quandary; when did they change to the domed plastic style which is all that you can get from Porsche?

I checked Andrea's thread and the plugs with the concentric circles (17 if you are interested) were replaced with the smooth topped type with the G model but you know, Paul's car being a kinda crossover model, early 74 production chassis number and all, he could have had the earlier type.
Have you no period close up photos of your rubbers ?

I noted on the headliner installation that it was glued directly to the painted metal, on 356's the headliner is glued onto a linen which is glued around the frame first, I think the linen sticks to the car better than the headliner material directly and the headliner sticks to the linen, if you see what I mean, anyway I put a liner in my friends 2.2 and I thought that had the linen trick, did 911's feature linen and if so when did it finish, I am working on a '73 car and will go for one of those headliners, thanks Bill.
