Hi Martin, yes a little space on Sunday, plenty for the Friday :) .

Be fantastic to get you up here: we all had a lot of fun in the Spring, and these last three are shaping up nicely as well.

Boing :)

Four places on friday available, and two for sunday.

If no takers, then I can suggest the 'friday's come on the sunday, but hopefully we can find a few more budding bodywork folk.

All welcome, whether newcomers having never done anything like this, or semi-experienced. We can always tweak the mix on each day to suit the average, and at the least, they are usually good fun.

Fruitcake, second MIG and steel all on their way :) .

Joning instructions for those that have signed up already will go out either at the end of this week, or early next week.

O.K. Folks, as of today, there are enough numbers to fully book the saturday and sunday, if I ditch the friday.

Therefore below are the final names for the weekend. Should there be a flurry of interest for the friday, I'm happy to re-instate it, but will need four folk minimum. If you fancy it, pop your name down on the offchance, as a) there may be a last minute cancellation, and b) there might be others thinking about it which might mean the friday becomes viable.

Anyway, here're the names for the days:

Saturday (one space available):

James
Caroline
Derek
Stuart (Friend of Derek and Caroline)
Ian (_UK)

Sunday: (now fully booked)

Andrew
Jim
Tim
Louis
Mark
Ron Vincent

If I've forgotton anyone, let me know ASAP, but I think that's everyone :? .

I'll be in touch within the week with joining instructions :) .

Hi Folks: just to confirm that I'll be sending out joining details late this evening, all being well.

I've also got an additional local'ish B&B list, if you should find Karen (as above) is now booked.

Looking at the last few posts, I feel as though I'm talking to myself (it's just like being at home) .

Anyway, by now everyone should have their joining instructions, which were sent out last night (tuesday).

Just out of interest, due to the distances people are travelling, lots of you are staying at B&B's locally: feel free to do as you wish of course, but there's a pretty good Pub locally, that those staying nearby might want to use as a pre-sheetmetal meeting point. Like I say upto yourselves, but perhaps if you are staying locally you might want to post on this thread.

Be a shame to arrive here having stayed nearby, only to find you were three tables away from some fellow DDK'ers  .

Further updates nearer the time, although if there's anything urgent, I'll P.M. everyone.

Oh and I'll apologise in advance for my rather loud overalls, leftovers from a previous occupation but you'll soon work out what that was  :)

Hi James: there are two local pubs.

The first is The Horse and Groom. which is at Rushlake Green, just across the road from the Cottage B&B (literally 3 mins walk through Olde Wolde village). Usually pretty good, and a nice traditional, period, Pub.

The other obvious local one is indeed The Three Cups. Again, traditional period pub, recently changed hands, and getting very good reviews locally, although I've not been there for a long time.

Both serve food of course, the Horse and Groom has had a reputation as more of a gastro pub, but I think they've toned that side down a little. Huge menu though: yummy!

Anyway, either one would be a nice place to meet up, the Horse obviously having the advantage of being within wobbling distance of the B&B :) .

QUICK REMINDER: There's still a place for saturday, be shame not to fill it, as the metal has been cut, and Mum's fruitcake ordered :P . If anyone knows of someone that would like to come along, please pass the news on ....

Hilary and myself will be travelling down Saturday sometime and are also staying at the Cottage B&B. I'd booked a table at the Horse and Groom across the green for 7:30 so I'd vote for that one as a meet up if only selfishly to save me cancelling the table :)
Looking forward to seeing you all
