OK then I've finally found someone local to make these :) :) matching the photograph from Revival Cars (below), Max has also kindly provided all the dimensions and detail pictures so they should be close to the real thing.

3mm thick black leather with nickel plated roller buckles
Protector flap behind the centre buckle as originals.
Rivetted fittings
Rolled edged to leather

£60 for a pair + £4.50 postage.

10 sets will be available within a couple of weeks all in time for Le Mans packing!!!

First come first served!!! 8)

Let me know and I'll put your name on the list. Tan leather is also available, although I will need to put a separate order in for these if I don't hear before I've made the deal with the supplier on Monday (27th March)

Thanks Luke,

Viv, I'll ask the question:)

They seem a very flexible outfit so I'd imagine a tan set is not beyond them.

Just picked the sample up :) With a few minor tweaks it looks like it should be just fine! I'll try it on my car tonight to check lengths etc, and post up some detail pictures.

It looks to be much stronger than the brackets it's fixed to  all else fails on the Le Mans trip maybe you could use them as a tow rope

OK here are the pictures! :)

I need to make a few detail changes to them, but basically they came out just like the drawing! One bit missing on this one is a loop in the centre of the top strap. This will be added to the proper ones.

Anyone who hasn't p.m'ed their details to me can you do that so I can get everything ready to pack. Thanks 8)

I've just picked up 13 shiny sets of straps from my supplier 8) I've boxed them up tonight and will get Juliet out to the post office tomorrow, so all those whose money has landed in my bank  (thanks!) should get them before the end of the week. :)
